Soup can turned into a centerpiece |
I have a REALLY EXCITING event coming up in April that I can't wait to share with you! I am not quite ready to reveal what the event is or the full project. However, since Earth Day is coming up April 22nd, I thought I would link up with some of other amazing bloggers and show you one tiny element from my centerpiece -- a soup can turned vase. So, read on for my project, plus checkout the other recycled projects in the link at the bottom of the post.
Yes, this is a simple, easy recycled craft...that's why I wanted to show it to you. It can be used for probably a million different things. As I said before, I am using it as a vase for a centerpiece...and maybe in my craft room after that.
Supplies for recycling a can into a centerpiece |
Only two supplies were needed for this project:
Can
Contact Paper
Easy Soup Can Recycled |
Step One
Cut the contact paper to size.
Step Two
Carefully wrap the contact paper around the can.
(Note: I removed the label before putting the contact paper on the can.)
Although today's tutorial might be a little simple, I thought I would use it as a little reminder to look at the things around you when coming up with your next craft.
Next time life hands you tomato soup,
make more than just spaghetti sauce.
Happy Earth Day, and check back later to find out how I use this repurposed can in my event decor!!
