Do you love decorating for parties?  If so, then you are going to love today's craft -- a mason jar cake plate!!  I am so in love with this thing.  <3  Consumer Crafts sent me some mason jars & some other amazing crafty products and challenged me to create something using the jars...I had so much fun dreaming up this one!!

Isn't there something SO inspiring about seeing beautifully decorated food?  Even if fondant and icing aren't your choice of medium, a beautifully decorated cake, cupcake or cookie just seems to get the creative juices flowing.

I can't take credit for the artistry you see here.  My friend, Katie, is the master artist.  She turned everyday cupcakes and Rice Krispy treats into pieces of art, or at least tools of the trade.  She has so graciously allowed me to post her masterpieces here.
