Mason Jar Cake Plate with Endless Possibilities

Mason Jar Cake Plate with Limitless Styling Options

{I received some super cool product in exchange for this post.  However, the opinions, post & tutorial are my own.}

Do you love decorating for parties?  If so, then you are going to love today's craft -- a mason jar cake plate!!  I am so in love with this thing.  <3  Consumer Crafts sent me some mason jars & some other amazing crafty products and challenged me to create something using the jars...I had so much fun dreaming up this one!!

To show you just how versatile this little fella is, I have set up five different scenarios to show you how you can use it....but the possibilities are limitless.  Before I show you the big pictures with the details of what I put inside, I want to show you how I made it.

Mason Jar Cake Plate Supplies

Only 4 supplies are needed: large glass plate (Wal-Mart, $3), tulip shaped candle votive (Thrift Store, $3), Mason Jar (Consumer Crafts), E6000 or glass adhesive (Consumer Crafts).

Thanks so much, Laura! I just wish I had enough time to create all of the ones I thought of...and that a magical fairy would come clean the mess left after setting up the 5 scenarios. LOL. Thanks for sharing!

Cute idea. Kind of like the red neck wine glasses with mason jars.

Thanks!! I love that you can decorate it so easily. It doesn't matter what type of dishes I buy, they never seem to match the "theme" when I need them too. I can't wait for my next party so I can use it. :)

thanks. Yeah, if you keep the plate off the top it looks just like it. (and also works for a candle votive.
